Bosses 上午9:10

So the boss of my institute decides to have this fortnightly intra-institute seminar, to promote scientific sharing blah blah. And first 2 presenters happen to include Mrs Lab Safety from my lab. So everyone from the lab had to go. Not that I really minded, since there was a free lunch after.

So anyway, seminar started at 12. Ended ard 1pm. By the time it ended, stomachs were rumbling left right front back. As expected, there was a horribly long line leading to the buffet table. I waited for about 10 minutes before I finally reached the table, and that was considered short. But never mind. Just as I was about to take a plate n plastic cutlery to begin filling my plate with food, suddenly right in front of me, the BOSS cut in with this friend of hers, mumbled a vague "Sorry" something, and took a plate and started filling it.

I recall being shell-shocked. I was staring at her, mouth wide open. I mean, I admit being slightly racist in this sense cos if it were to be someone of another nationality like for example maybe China (sorry a little bit politically incorrect) or Singapore, I would probably be less shocked and more annoyed. But this lady don't juz happen to be an ang moh (of cos all Singaporeans worship ang mohs right! Our govt taught us wan mah) but she's also the leader of this institute attending this event hosted by this institute and she exhibits such ungracious behaviour?!

So anyway lady in question turned and saw me staring at her, eyes and mouth both wide open. She gave a sheepish smile and laugh (I admit I must look kinda rude) and then continued filling her plate. Well, then I thought she must be really in a hurry, cos she's a boss mah.. bosses are always rushing off somewhere to get something done. But then 10 minutes passed, 20 minutes passed, 30 minutes passed.... I finished my food, all my colleagues, even those who got their food long after me, had finished their food. And this lady boss was still happily chitchatting with her friends beside the buffet line!

And I am really irked. Mostly because I used to think this lady boss is a rather nice boss. Well, to her credit, this is the only negative incident I've ever encountered with her. But its enough to irritate me so much that I sms-ed this relative who happens to also be a boss about this incident, "XX just cut my queue in the buffet line after I spent 10 min queueing. Good to be boss."



After 5 min, relative replied,



"Being a BOSS has its privileges. You must always respect the bosses!"

She likes think of herself as the next 杨过, 郭靖 or 张无忌Œ.

武林盟主 also has this slightly straight slightly crooked sexuality. At times when the Estrogen triumphs, she preys on hot guys. Other times when the Testosterone levels peak, she preys on hot girls. Some say that is a side effect of the 葵花宝典. Her doctors are still working to establish that.

Many say she's invincible. But that's not true. Bring a DURIAN in front of her, and she will ditch her sword and raise the white flag. She's still desperately trying to master the 闭气功ŠŸ so she can overcome this weakness.
